The Fly Camp

The fly camp equates to an adventure under the stars. This is as close to Nature as one can get. It usually is a simple sleepout or in Safari terminology, a sort of ‘Wild Camping’ where a guest gets to sleep out in the bush under a simple structure - either a canvas tent or for the more Bold Adventurer, a mosquito net. Ablution facilities are set up in a private space close to campsite, offering sufficient privacy and a degree of security. This is the Thrill of the experience. The fly camps are normally set up prior to guests arrival and dismantled upon guests departure and is a readily available option in many parts of Africa during the dry season. Dining is a casual affair around an open fire, often accompanied by convivial chatter between in camp guests.
