Nothern Tuli Game Reserve
Northern Tuli Game Reserve: This 800 sq km (80 000 ha) reserve is located in Botswana’s far north eastern corner where the Limpopo and Shashe Rivers meet. More commonly referred to as the Tuli Block, it consists of a unique and remarkable diverse habitat, including mopane velds, riverine forest, semi-arid bush savannah, marshland, sandstone cliffs, basalt formations and many rock outcrops protruding from the undulating land carved by a network of dry river beds and streams. Add to that the historical landscape dotted with huge baobab trees and ancient nyala berry trees and it is easy to understand why this region is called unique in Botswana. The topography, along with the rich wildlife, makes for one of Africa’s most exciting walking safari adventures.
